I don’t know. I don’t want Neil to resent me either. He was excited. And we just started getting good again. And I don’t want to miss out on this amazing kid.
And what if it’s a great kid? Like president or something.
He wouldn’t resent you, I don’t think. He might be sad because he was excited at first but really, the reason he was excited is because he loves you and because he loves you he’ll understand. I’m sure deep down this isn’t the way he thought things would go either.
And your kids will be great because of good parenting, Sandra, not destiny. If you really think this is something you’ll look back on and regret then you know Neil will be on board to make things work. Look how great Isaac is, you guys did great with him. But, if this isn’t something you want to do yet, you don’t have to.
Yeah but I also know that sounds stupid. Like I’m not married, I know it’s not the fifties but I saw a certain kind of life for myself, y’know? And I’ve never had an abortion, it’s scary. But there’s a little ticking time bomb growing in me and I have to make a choice because the longer I wait the more complicated it is.
It’s not stupid at all. Why shouldn’t you choose the life you want to live when there are options to help you. I mean, I’ve never had one either and it is, like, really scary sounding but it’s also something women all over the world have done and gotten through. It’s really how you feel about it and what you want the next year to be like.
